Toyota Motor Manufacturing South Carolina, Inc. (TMMSC) is an automobile manufacturing plant in Georgetown, South Carolina. The plant is a joint venture between Toyota and Mitsui & Co., and it began production in 2002. TMMSC is the first Toyota plant in North America to produce vehicles using the company’s modular transverse matrix assembly system.
The plant currently manufactures the Toyota RAV4, Highlander, and Sienna.
