Other notable features include LED headlamp, digital instrumentation with analogue tachometer, fuel gauge and odometer; USB charging socket; underseat storage space; switchable ABS; mono shock rear suspension; 41 mm telescopic forks with 200 mm travel (front); disc brakes on both wheels (300 mm front/240mm rear); dual purpose tyres (110/80 R21 front & 150/70 R17 rear). So far Royal Enfield has released very little information about the Himalayan, but it promises that it will be “affordable”. We’ll have to wait until early next year to find out more details about this interesting new model.
